The Specsavers Opticians in Swindon wanted to celebrate their 30th birthday a bit differently to just presents and a cake.
The staff at the Specsavers, Swindon branch decided to do something sensational, they went for a massive 80’s themed day.
All of the staff at the high street Opticians got dressed up in their 80’s gear and hosted a fantastic day with 80’s themed music playing throughout the day.
The Specsavers Opticians team, started celebrating their birthday first thing in the morning as they had a stilt walker at the practice keeping the customers entertained.
The Opticians didn’t stop there, they were giving away 10 pairs of designer glasses to some of their lucky customers, but for the customers that didn’t win they could grab themselves a bargain as the practice took 25% off all of their glasses during their birthday on Monday.
The director of the Specsavers branch in Swindon, David Grieves said: “As it’s been 30 years since we first opened our doors, we wanted to hold a special event for our customers and the team.”
Mr. Grieves added: “It’s been wonderful to watch our team grow over the decades and our anniversary was a great opportunity to look back at everything we have achieved.”
The Optometrist director at Specsavers Swindon, Paul Ewah said: “Our success really is testament to the hard work of our team, as well as our loyal customers.”
And don’t worry there is still time for you to enter in the Opticians massive designer specs competition as it is open until 11th December and the lucky winners will be announced on Saturday.
